I have today - 26.3.2020, seen a comment from a friend and he confirms using this in his coding of jobs submitted. The following is what I wrote in July 2012 I have not received any comment or e-mail from anyone. Does it mean that what I have written is clear enough for everyone? I am not sure and therefore I’ll give another example. I hope someone will start commenting so that I can move forward. Let me give another example: 

Multiplication made simple

This article is for parents with children finding difficulty with their time's table. Many parents, from a number of Yahoo Groups I belong to, have asked me if I know of a simple way to teach Multiplication tables. I have in the year 2010 written to many parents telling them what I had learnt from my dyslexic students on multiplication from the 6 time table onwards. This is just a crutch for the time being and should be discarded once the student has learnt his multiplication tables. In fact, after a few months of using this method multiplication will have been memorized.

Mathematics I do not know who to attribute all the various methods of doing mathematics which I am going to write on from today.   One of the earliest books to be written about these methods was written by Jakow Trachtenberg. He was a Russian who was born in 1888 and died in 1953.Subsequently many others have changed a little here and there and called it their own. All I can say is that I learnt all these as I was growing up and none of it is my own and now I share them with you.

5 Multiplication table

Teaching Multiplications to a child

Multiplication is a difficult concept for any child to learn. It will be easier for a child to learn if he understands the concept. I have found the following idea to be helpful. When you start multiplication get hold of 10 pairs of socks. Place them in front of the child. Explain what a pair means. A pair = 2.
